places | Hawthorne Valley: when Utopia becomes Reality

 Every year I spent a few hours by one of my favorite places: Hawthorne Valley. The community is based in Harlemville (Columbia County, NY) and  was founded in 1971 by a group of Waldorf teachers and biodynamic farmers, following the holistic approach to individual spirituality and social life of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925).
