divorce brutality & healing | Central Park, Walking in the Ramble

Walking has become a metaphor for my life these days —besides providing healing while I am trying to keep my sanity struggling with the divorce brutality.
During my morning walk in Central Park I kept getting lost in familiar grounds, the Ramble, where I have been walking probably almost hundreds time, in any season.
But I have finally, found sunlight to orient and guide me in the darkness. Quite a metaphor...

camminando | Snow Laced Trees

Yesterday I took another healing walk in the park, to enjoy the blinding white of the snow reflecting in the sunlight before today arrival of wintry mix. My footsteps followed the Ramble paths and bridge to the Belvedere Castle.

camminando | Snowscapes and Mirrored Skylines

Here are my visual memories of the day after the blizzard, when snow has already turned into slush and ice. Central Park offered postcard views, including midtown skyline reflecting in the iced lake.

camminando | Central Park Summer Evening

A very pleasant mid summer evening and I am planning to go the MOMA Talk to Me exhibition. I get stuck in Central Park, hundreds of people participating (and viewing) to the Jamaica Underwear Run...Ah, New York, New York!
So my evening in the park ends instead in a quiet walk through the Ramble and Lake loop, tracing my yesterday morning steps.
