Art Fairs | Pulse, Inner Course

" Inner Course"  is one of the Pulse special projects, staging the participatory performance "Knowing Me, Knowing You". Fair attendees are invited for seven minutes to interact with two  Honey Space performers for a liberatory art experience. A product specific to the attendee will be created during the seven minutes interaction.

PULSE is one of my favorite of the myriad of art fairs which have relentlessly intersecting of the New York —as  many other cities across the globe as the art fair has become a global phenomenon.
I enjoy going to PULSE for the more "intimate" scale as well as the larger presence of installation art and performance. Even at at a fair process based art can exist...

Art Fairs | NYC, Armory Week: Pulse

After experiencing the Armory Show at Pier 94 visiting Volta and Pulse has been a very refreshing experience.
Both fair ---although the indisputable focus on selling art, synonymous with fair--- still preserved art as practice and engaged the visitor in an aesthetic presentation/discourse.
My picks at Pulse were mainly installation based works or non-art material sculpture. A few images below...I will post more later.
