fitness event | NYC, SELF Workout in the Park
The stage of Rumsey Playfield in Central Park usually hosts concerts and performances, but last Saturday the main performer was the audience itself.
Thousands of women gathered together to jump, step, stretch, lunge, squat, punch, kick, crunch at the latest music rhythms in the fitness event organized by SELF magazine. The classes were choreographed by Crunch instructors and had exotic names such as "Retro-robics", "LABlast", "Beach Body", "Kama Strength", "Body Art".
Fifty per cent of profits were donated to the charities Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Cancer and Careers
An empowering event: now, let's bring the energy of the workout to our daily life!
