road trip | Heading to the South: Chasing Clouds and Storms

The road trip has began memorably, being close to the destructive force of the tornadoes which today hit several southern states. The sky is dark grey, several layers of clouds, heavy rain, wind and lightening. In spite of all the technology available in the car ---Blackberry, Ipad, laptop, GPS--- it is almost impossible to learn more about the tornado warnings. Quite scary, the powerlessness of lack of communication...
But when the sun makes a brief appearance the all landscape brightens in the most brilliant green; a glance of a shy rainbow, then the powerful rain starts again.
