Vitruvian Yoga | Headstand

The "Vitruvian Man" by Leonardo da Vinci is a well know example of human proportions visualized as artwork. I started using the rigorous geometric definition of the human body used by Leonardo da Vinci, as well as other classical references, to explore different ways to inscribe human movements in dynamic geometric forms. I find most fascinating how a Western culture stereotype of proportions could be integrated with an Eastern practice.
