The highlight of my week has been a hike to Monument Mountain (Stockbridge, MA) the mountain celebrated by several artists and writers, including Nathaniel Hawthorne and Herman Melville (1850). Our hike started heading north through the Hickey Trail, Squaw Peak trail with breathtaking views of Devil's Pulpit, a free-standing pillar of stone. Our loop continued through Indian Monument trail.
