As I begin feeling a little bit more settled and "oriented", yesterday (April 1) for the first time I witnessed and recorded the sun rising from below the equator. While I felt quite disoriented by the sun at the north during noon, I found instead quite reassured by sun still rising from the east. The sunrise was also accompanied by the strong smell emanating from the native eucalyptuses. I believe I am quite ready for the next challenge: reassuring for my next orientation session: star trails centered around the Southern Cross.
